Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross was the mega comic book event of the 1990’s. The story is complex, multiple layers upon layers opened to interpretation

The book touches on many themes, such as the role Jewish writers and artists played in American pop culture (like it or not comics are American mythology).

I was hooked on the first few pages of the book, the art is wonderful, the story is told through a very personal point of view and the format is engaging
