S.Y. Agnon – ש”י עגנון (17 July, 1888 – 17 February, 1970) was an Israeli author, a Noble Prize winner, and one of the central figures in modern Israeli literature.
This is a refreshing and unique book, which provides a deeper understanding into a complicated, and sometimes contradictory, story.
The author writes about the challenges of living in the region for both Jews and Arabs, especially for young people who struggle with identity and family.
The lives of the seven paratroopers keep interlacing throughout their lives, whether in war or peace, while they seven maintained different views on what’s good for the state of Israel and society, they mostly managed to keep a friendly and supportive relationship despite their differences.
