Edmond Rostand (1 April 1868 – 2 December 1918) was a French author and poet. He is mostly associated with his 1897 work, Cyrano de Bergerac.

- Rostand studied at the Collège Stanislas in Paris. He mostly concentrated on philosophy, history, and literature.

- The house of Edmond Rostand and his wife, poet and playwright Rosemonde-Étienette Gérard, is now a heritage site and a museum.
