Recently the BBC World Book Club did an interview with Chilean author Isabel Allende. World Book Club was kind enough to arrange a time for me to call in, and gave me the opportunity to ask Ms. Allende a question.
I have read many of Isabel Allende‘s books, and enjoyed them very much.
My question, which in an unofficial survey was voted to be the highlight of the show*, timestamp 44:49, was a general question about book translations, as well as writing in different languages. As someone who reads in several languages, this is a question which is constantly on my mind.
