The final battle was chaotic, as most big battles are. But Ragnarök must take place. All three books are immersive and well-written

The story takes place in between worlds, where mortals walk among the gods. Each character is well-written and shows growth throughout their individual journey

The characters are well-written, especially the women. They are mothers, daughters & sisters, heroic & compassionate, as well as fierce warriors

Besides enjoying the sections about places I’ve been to there are several other places that I either always wanted to go to, or discovered in this book.

This rich adventure novel has memorable characters and an epic story.

Buy this book in electronic format (free for Amazon Prime members) I am usually not a fan of romance novels. I mean, I enjoy a good Austen or even an action-romance, but historical romance? Eh, it didn’t sound like something I would really like. However, I had my new Kindle and no extra money to burn, so I was shopping through the free books. After passing over some real gems (yeah, right) I came to Loki’s Daughters by Delle Jacobs. It didn’t sound as terrible as the rest of them, and it was free, so I downloaded it. I have read it three times since then, at least. I’m not saying it is the best book I’ve ever read. I’m not even saying it is up there with the greats. But, somehow, it is very compelling.
