This graphic novel, part of DC Universe Rebirth, suffered from too little of a good thing, but it was still a good book. I would have like to see more of the Justice League Incarnate in Superman Vol. 3: Multiplicity by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason (art by Patrick Gleason, Jorge Jimenez, Ivan Reis, Ryan Sook, Tony S. Daniel, & Sebastián Fiumara) as well as the multiverse supermen.
The Superman / Swamp Thing solo issue got my attention before beginning with the main story line. I though the story about Jon Kent (Superboy) was a bit weak though, this one ended the book. The art is great though and brings forward the fun of a book about the multiverse.
This was a fun book, but I enjoyed the previous two a lot more. I wish they would have spent two more issues on the multiverse and the different Supermen instead of two Halloween-like stories.
The new Chinese Superman, Kenan Kong, the Red Son of Earth-30, Kal-L, and Sunshine Superman, the mystical protector of the Dreamworld have all disappeared. Our favorite superhero, Kal-El, is next on the least.
Superman must join forces with the Justice League Incarnate (superheroes from all 52 Earths), to hunt down the villain and free his counterparts.
