The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson (my thoughts) have produced some wonderful covers for this fantastic story. Take a look at the few below, tell me which one is your favorite.
My favorite is the Campfire Classics cover. The picture has many elements of the story, the laboratory, the duel personality, The green smoke, one red eye, even a different suite.
So tell me, what’s your favorite?

I think I am with you on the Campfire cover. I don't like it when the cover misleads about a books content. But I is interesting to see the different renderings.
Yes, I think Stevenson would have been mad as most of these covers give away the "twist" in the book.
I like the 3rd from the top the best. The shadow has symbolism that creates a sense of eeriness that the pictures of a grotesque looking man don't.
I also like that cover, a bit creepy and eerie.
Thanks for sharing these amazing covers. This book is sitting in my TBR pile and would you believe it has another cover again. I like the Edminston version Required Reading, though they all look good. Happy New Year.
Happy new year to you as well. Enjoy the book.
