Thoughts:
I was very excited to read Head Strong: The Bulletproof Plan to Boost Brainpower, Increase Focus, and Maximize Performance-in Just Two Weeks by Dave Asprey, right off the bat, the author described symptoms which I identified with. Sluggish thought process, inability to remember as much as I used to, to process or learn new things. I chocked it up to old age and a full life, to be honest, that is one of the reasons I try to read as much as I can.

Throughout the book the author explains how the brain works, and how to hack the brain to become more productive. The subject was fascinating and every chapter ends with some takeaways and things to change if you don’t want to trudge through the scientific explanations.

About a quarter way thorough the book, I figured out the author is trying to sell me his supplements.

Nevertheless, the author has some valuable information throughout the book and his lifestyle advice makes sense and is something I have heard about before. I did ask my cousin, a neuroscientist, about the author’s conclusions – he disagreed with many of them (to put it politely).
