I did, however, enjoy the structure of the story, much like the old German fairytales many of us grew on.

After Alice by Gregory Maguire is a novel written in the style of Lewis Carroll about a friend of Alice who follows her into Wonderland.

I found this book mediocre and somewhat disjointed. Yet, I found it strangely interesting – maybe because I think that the idea is brilliant and the overall story is good.
