This book is short, but thought provoking. The question of “why the Jews?” has been asked for centuries without a good answer other than racism, probably because there isn’t one. This is a riveting, easy to read book. Mr. Henderson wrote a wonderful and important book, packed with history and stories which pack an emotional punch.
I really liked the characters of the book, the three Kenyan orphans are engaging and likeable. I also liked how the author took the Wizard of Oz and weaved that narrative into his storyline throughout the book.
