Twitter Roundup for Week Ending 13 April, 2013

April 14, 2013

An exciting day today, we’re taking the kids to Washington D.C. for the cherry blossoms and some history lessons (they don’t know about the history lessons yet and it’s a “surprise” to the wife as well). Most of us who went to high-school in the north east are very lucky, we learn about American revolution history in school and then get to visit these places. However, my beloved wife (may she live a long life) grew up in the mid-west and for her American history is a bunch of fairy tales with no concrete roots.

After we got married and I started dragging her to historical sites, she realized how much more enjoyable is the subject when you can go visit the places you learned about. I’m looking forward to this trip – I’ll make sure to share.
