Our family likes to take daytrips, sometimes we get children books from the local library for our kids so what they’ll view will be in context (for example: going to a President’s home).

Hi, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I love the sound of the Lotus eaters. The History for the book Fire Island seemed to we well researched and well written. John Stevens had a book sighning today at the Long Island Maritine Museum. I believe that speaks for itself. I certainly enloyed it.

    Hello,
After reviewing your blog, I’d like to send you an advance review copy of The Family Affair, slated to be published in November. It’s the sequel to Leon Gildin’s award-winning historical fiction book, The Polski Affair. We’d love you to consider reading and reviewing this new book as part of our blog tour for Leon — or if you’re not familiar with the first book, we can send both so you can experience and enjoy the set and consider reviewing.

In The Polski Affair, which won Leon Gildin the International Book Award, he tells a remarkable story of haunting secrets and the guilt of survival set against the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto during the Holocaust. The Family Affair continues this compelling story and follows the lives of the surviving members of an “arranged family”. Their explosive revelations and human frailties have the power to both unite and divide the family for generations to come.

I’m happy to send you a copy of both books, or if you’ve already read The Polski Affair, I’ll just send along an ARC of the sequel at your request. For more info, please visit http://www.leongildin.com.

Thanks for your time and consideration. Please let me know your interest and mailing address, and we’ll get one or both books out to you.

    Best,
    Heather Dwyer
