I’m always on the lookout for books about passive income, so when I saw that Passive Income: How To Reach Financial Freedom By Building Residual Income Assets by John C. Borg was free on the Kindle I downloaded it immediately.
This is a short book with some helpful tips about saving, real estate, compound interest etc. The book is by no means a “how to” guide, but more of an idea generator. I liked the money savings ideas and simple explanations of somewhat complex financial terms.
What many of these type of books about passive income are missing, though, is that there is nothing “passive” about passive income. Granted, you might not have to be working 9 to 5, but to put these types of income generators in place takes lots of hard work, endurance and money (maybe not “lots” of money but usually there is some type of investment involved even if it’s buying a website and hosting plan).
Of course these businesses or profitable projects also need maintenance.
