Thoughts:
Cosmos: The Infographic Book of Space by Stuart Lowe and Chris North is a deceiving book. While bright, colorful and misleadingly simple to the eye, it is also dense with information about the cosmos.

Each graphic takes up two pages and shows one subject (solar eclipse, tallest mountains, biggest lakes and more). You can skip throughout the book and check out these amazing infographics on any subject in this vast cosmos that might be of interest to you.

I am a big fan of “space”, I loved the idea of explorers traveling beyond the boundaries of the Earth since I was a small boy. While I understood many of the charts, they are so full of information that I found myself a bit confused at times, or maybe overwhelmed.

I did enjoy looking at the charts, and certainly enjoyed pouring over them to make my understanding (as simplistic as it is) of the cosmos a bit more enhanced. This book will grace my nightstand, and every time I think I know everything or too smart for my own good, or just want a good mind exercise I will take a look at it.
